Description: Blending heartfelt humanitarian lyrics with a variety of contemporary musical components, "Light Euphoric", has created a unique new era of music they call "Humanitarian Pop."
Biography: Founded in 2005, Tam Katzin and Chad Quist rekindled their friendship when Tam moved back to the Seattle area from a 12 year stint in sunny Florida.

Catching up over lunch and hot black coffee, they reminisced about playing music together in the Seattle show and dance band, "Steppe Sisters", and also about their music writing moments together in their "young twenty-something" days. They also discussed their 15 year adventures which included their musical journeys. Chad's highlights included on stage performances with Kenny G, The Platters, Martha and the Vandellas, Ray Charles, Tower Of Power, George Benson, Rick Derringer, Head East, Diane Schuur, Dave Grusin, Lou Rawls, Larry Carlton, Basia, Huey Lewis, Jamie Foxx and a ten year recording career with Muzak. Chad also described his opening for Pat Benatar on her 2000 summer tour with his band Quistaday and touring gig with Big Brother and the Holding Company, of Janis Joplin fame.

Tam described her stories of various music projects which included Gladys Knight, Roberta Flack, Marvin Hamlisch, Diane Reeves, Clark Terry, The Nylons, Lionel Hampton, Jerry Mulligan, Lou Tobaken, Louie Bellson and The Four Freshman, but felt compelled to share her humanitarian passions with Chad and of her desire to create a "new" music genre that would include "love and peace" based lyrics . . . songs that would up-lift humanity . . . music that could be shared with non-profit organizations to assist them in spreading their global messages.

Chad loved the idea and they quickly set aside their previous accomplishments to discuss their new, more important project . . . assisting humanity through musical messages of love and peace.

Within a few months of that meeting, Chad and Tam created their musical duo name, "Light Euphoric", and invite the world to share in their new adventures of humanitarian based music. Music they call, "Humanitarian Pop".
