Biography:
His passion is his music and his love is Christ. If you could sum, Contemporary Christian Recording Artist, Jim Murphy ,up in 10 words or less that would be the description. With already two successful albums under his belt, Jims latest album "Everything Changes" is scheduled for release in February of 2008. Most recently his advance single release of the Twila Paris classic, "How Beautiful" climbed to 12 on the Christian Radio Weekly inspirational chart.
Jims' Music has been featured on Various Popular Radio Networks such as "American Family Radio", "UCB Europe ", "Pilgrim Radio Network" as well as Hundreds of other stations here in the U.S. and Abroad. Through Gods Grace alone, Jim's music has been far reaching. Touching the lives of countless indidviduals and reaching virtually every corner of the globe.

Feb. 12th Jim Murphy's "Everything Changes," will hit stores as he offers his third Studio release on Mission House Music, Nashville, TN. In support of the release Jim's latest single "Start All Over" takes center stage and offers a look into the style and message fans have come to expect from one of Christian Musics finest up and coming male vocalists.

A gentle Piano Driven song "Start All Over" reflects a message of
renewal and hope that is represented throughout the entire album.
"Start All Over" is an adaptation of "Start Over," a poem penned by Dr. Woodrow Kroll of Back to the Bible, who supports Murphy's and Writer/Arranger (Alan Farris') rethinking of the piece. According to Murphy, "Start all Over" is not only a rebirth of sorts for Kroll's poem but also a new look at a classic pillar of faith, the love of God. " 'Start All Over' gives a fresh but yet rather simple perspective of just how all-encompassing God's love really is," states Murphy. "Jesus' love will never forsake us. His arms are open wide and no matter what the circumstance, He is there, patiently waiting through all of our transgressions all we need do is turn to him."

Murphy kicked off his career as a solo recording artist more than four years ago. His debut album "It Was You," hit the streets in 2003. He followed the success of "It Was You" with "Christmas Time," which was released in 2005 and drew a nomination for album of the year by the Independent Music Awards. Most recently his pre-release single from "Everything Changes," and the Twila Paris classic,"How Beautiful," reached the number 12 slot on the Christian Radio and Retail weekly inspirational chart.
